The Palomino model plan is a one-story house for country living. We imagine this house in a setting of open fields and with family gardens surrounded by open farmland that includes a barn and horse corral. A palomino is a beautiful animal to see and to be seen riding, with a gold coat and a blonde mane and tail. Our plan has a very spacious family room, a cathedral ceiling with a skylight shed dormer to see the blue sky, stars at night and let daylight into the living space. A large Dining Room is open to the Kitchen as well as the Family Room for large family gatherings and visiting friends. The Master Bedroom is separated from the childrens bedrooms. There is a mudroom with a spacious pantry for storing the vegetables from homemade canning. There is a home office or hobby room ROG, maybe it’s a quilting room for an authentic down home lifestyle.
