Plan Description

This lovely lifestyle house has a wide open living area surrounded by porches and a sunroom. Besides the spacious master bedroom on the first floor with a sauna, there is an additional guest bedroom with a private bath. Designed for a suburban neighborhood in Virginia Beach this home was built on a generous piece of property that was well suited to the spacious living floor plan. The owners enjoy hosting guests and family visitors and so the private first floor guest room was a priority. This room could also serve the first floor needs of an aging parent. Two additional bedrooms are upstairs with windows facing the rear view. And there is no shortage of entertainment space with a large room over the garage including a fully equipped wet bar. The owners definitely had a preference for the Craftsman Architectural style, and we were able to achieve that with plenty of textured exterior surfaces, a large front porch and a contemporary appearance. The garage is easily accessible and offers a wide driveway. The offset 2-car design provides ample additional space for storage, a workshop or a four wheeler.
