“Homecoming” is a small craftsman style model that fits an open pasture setting. The origin of this plan has a story to tell that began in an urban neighborhood as a Habitat for Humanity home. These homes are generally constructed by volunteers. Such was the case when this model was originally built. The volunteers were primarily undergraduate students at Old Dominion University, its completion timed for the celebration of their homecoming football game in the year that it was built. This popular plan has been built in many locations across the USA. Its plan and styling are suited for “down home” style living. It has won awards for its design.
